The crude palm oil (CPO) futures are
likely to trade lower next week due to the expectations of a stronger
Malaysian Ringgit against the US Dollar. Analyst reported that lower CPO prices
would probably attract more buying.
However, the ongoing trade tension between the
United States and China is likely to affect demand for commodities.Though, the on-going trade tariff tension between the United States and China is likely to distress demand for commodities. Malaysian Bursa Malaysia Market players were monitoring the CPO stocks and CPO production figures of May month to be released by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board next week.
The Bursa Malaysian market was mostly lower during
the holiday-shortened week. It was closed on Wednesday and Thursday for the
Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, and trading will be resumed on Friday.
