MCX Copper Lot Size has been changed from July Contract of 2019.Current month MCX Copper Contract June Lot Size is 1000 Kilograms i.e. One Metric Tonne (1 MT).On the basis of MCX Circular on June'12'2019 about MCX Copper Futures Contracts with Modifications, it comes to an effect from July Contract on June’18 ‘2019.The Launch of this July 2019 Contract modified, MCX Copper commodity lot size revised as 2500 Kilograms (2.5 MT).
MCX Copper Contract lot size will be changed from July 2019 onwards. Hence, Copper 1 Point gain or loss Rs.2500 from this July’2019 MCX Copper Futures Contract. MCX Copper Price movement per 1 Kg for Rs.1000 will be closed by June 2019 contract. June 2019 contract as last contract traded in 1MT (Rs.1000) as Lot Size. Tick Size, Price Quote, Daily Price limits and Margin cost will be the same as Current Contract.
So, Every 0.05 Tick Size value for a tick is Rs.125 as per new Lot size change in MCX Copper, Previously it was Rs.50 for 0.50paise movement.
